UnPlug is a mobile app concept designed to help people build genuine, in-person connections through local events and shared interests. In a time when so much of our social interaction is digital, UnPlug encourages users to step away from their screens and engage in real-life experiences.The logo combines a smiling face and the shape of a hand to form an organic mark that reflects joy, connection, and human interaction. UnPlug was designed in Figma and in Adobe Suites.

Users create a profile, select their interests, and are shown curated local events. These events range from creative workshops and networking mixers to small get-togethers and niche meetups. The interface is inspired by dating apps: swipe right on events you’re interested in, swipe left on ones you’d like to pass. The more events you attend, the more points you earn on the community leaderboard, turning participation into a fun, social challenge.
